1. This website provides only information on environmental education activities and service for activity matching and enrollment.
2. The environmental education activities listed on this website are organised by various organisations. Please note that the information of activities such as content, date, location and fee may be subject to changes. The most up-to-date information of activities is subject to the announcements made by the respective organisers.
Application for Activities
1. Schools should read the terms and conditions of this website carefully before submitting the application. By submitting the application, schools are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all the activity terms and conditions, and arrangements.
2. The school activity matching service is only applicable to local primary and secondary schools registered under Section 3(1) of the Education Ordinance.
3. Prior to submitting the application, schools should assess whether the students' physical conditions are suitable for participating in the applied activity.
4. Upon receipt of schools' enquiries or applications, GreenLink will promptly contact the corresponding organisers to transfer the applications and arrange the details. Please note that the organisers may make modifications to the content and related arrangements of activities. The final activity information is subject to the official announcements of the respective organisers.
5. The insurance for environmental education activities is normally provided by the organisers.
6. If it is necessary to change or even cancel the scheduled activity, schools must notify GreenLink in advance according to the cancellation policy and terms of the organiser.
7. For fee-charging activities, the school should pay the fees directly to the organiser as required. Failure to pay on time may result in disqualification from activities participation.
8. The costs for fee-charged activities are for reference only; fees chargeable may vary and the costs are subject to the final confirmation made by the organisers.
9. Participants are required to follow the safety guidelines and measures provided by the organiser, including wearing appropriate clothing and shoes, using the provided safety equipment, and complying with the safety regulations of the activity venue, etc.
Personal Information Collection Statement
1. The personal data provided by means of this form will be used by GreenLink, the corresponding activity organiser and the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) Secretariat for facilitating communication and applications.
2. The Environment and Ecology Bureau (EEB) and/or the ECC Secretariat also intend to use the personal data (including your name, phone number, and correspondence email address) that you have provided to promote the latest development, policies, activities and schemes of the EEB and /or the ECC. It is voluntary to provide your personal data.
3. Staff members of GreenLink are committed to complying with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance to ensure the privacy, confidentiality, and security of your personal information.
4. Applicants are required to provide at least 2 photos taken during the activity to the ECC Secretariat and/ or the Contractor of GreenLink within 1 week after completion of the activity. These photos may be used for promotional purposes on the websites, social media platforms, publications, and promotional materials of GreenLink, the EEB and/or ECC.
